Tenant Application & Screening Process All prospective tenants will be required to complete a formal rental application. Every adult occupant who will reside at the property must be included on the rental application, undergo the screening process, and sign the lease agreement. No adult occupants may reside at the property unless they are approved as applicants and are parties to the lease agreement. Applications will be assessed based on, but not limited to, the following: Proof of identity (South African ID or valid passport). Proof of current residential address. Proof of income (latest payslips and/or bank statements, or other acceptable proof of earnings). An affordability assessment to determine the applicant's ability to meet the monthly rental obligations. A credit bureau check. A criminal background check. Please note that each applicant will be responsible for the cost of the tenant screening process. A non-refundable screening fee of R700.00 per applicant is payable prior to the commencement of the verification process. This fee covers the cost of the affordability assessment, credit bureau enquiry, criminal background check, identity verification, and associated administrative processing. All approved lease agreements will be registered with the Tenant Profile Network (TPN). The tenancy will be administered through the TPN platform, with rental payments recorded and managed accordingly. Tenants acknowledge that their payment history and lease performance may be recorded by TPN for the duration of the tenancy. Submission of an application and payment of the screening fee do not guarantee approval. The landlord reserves the right to approve or decline any application at its sole discretion, based on the overall assessment of the information provided and the outcome of the screening process.
